Eastern Savings Bank chose to sell the Fullerton branch deposits to Rosedale Bank because, like Eastern Savings Bank, Rosedale Bank has deep roots in the community and a long history of local investment and community involvement. Rosedale Bank provides the excellent, hometown customer service that you deserve and has a 13-branch network with branches located near the ESB Fullerton branch and throughout the Baltimore area. You can certainly open a new Rosedale Bank account now. That decision is up to you. Either way, we are committed to providing an outstanding customer experience for you.
Your deposits will continue to be FDIC insured up to the maximum amount allowed by law, separately for six months after the merger. We can work with you to determine how to ensure your accounts are set up to give you the maximum FDIC coverage. The good news is that you have until the end of March 2026 to enjoy the same level of FDIC coverage you currently have.
Information on how to order checks will be included in the Welcome Packet that you receive at the end of August.
Rosedale Bank does not participate in the AllPoint or MoneyPass networks; however, after the conversion, you can get cash and make transactions at any of the 13 Rosedale Bank branch ATMs. Plus, you will receive up to four ATM surcharge rebates per month for non-Rosedale Bank ATM transactions. We have found that this solution works well for customers who’ve previously had access to the AllPoint and MoneyPass networks.
Information on online and mobile banking will be included in the Welcome Packet that you receive at the end of August. On or after Monday, September 29th, you will need to enroll in Rosedale Bank’s online banking. We are available to help you with any questions you have about accessing and using online banking!
Your account number will not change. The routing number on file with these companies will need to change from Eastern Savings Bank’s routing number to Rosedale Bank’s routing number on or after Monday, September 29th. If you need assistance changing the routing number on file with companies, we would be glad to help you!
We have a Call Center (410.668.4400, Option 1 for Customer Service) that’s available during the following hours to assist you with your banking needs:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Customers who’ve previously used Telephone Banking at other banks have been pleased with the support and service provided by our Call Center.
