About
Kevin Benson is the President and CEO of Rosedale Bank, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. In his leadership role, Kevin is responsible for setting the Bank’s strategic direction and ensuring it fulfills its mission to help customers and local communities achieve their financial goals. He also serves on the Rosedale Bank Board of Directors.
Kevin joined Rosedale Bank in 2010 as Chief Lending Officer, where he led the bank’s residential and commercial lending operations. Prior to that, he held positions with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as a bank examiner and with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in bank regulatory consulting.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Kevin is deeply involved in community and industry leadership. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Sheppard Pratt, where he chairs the Finance Committee. A respected advocate for banking in Maryland, Kevin has been named the 2026–2027 Board Chair of the Maryland Bankers Association.
Outside the office, Kevin enjoys spending time on the golf course and pickleball court, and cherishes time with his wife, three adult children, and grandson.
