It All Began in 1908, with $71 at the General Store

Rosedale Bank has proudly served the Baltimore area for more than a century. We’ve grown alongside the families, businesses, and neighborhoods that make our communities strong.

In 1908, a group of neighbors gathered at Seward’s General Merchandise Store in Rosedale to create something meaningful. They wanted a financial institution rooted in trust, access, and shared success.

With just $71 pooled together, they founded what would eventually become Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan Association. Today, that same spirit lives on through Rosedale Bank. We continue to provide safe, seamless, and supportive banking to help our community thrive.

From our earliest days to today, we’ve grown with the community. As a mutual association owned by our depositors rather than outside shareholders, our focus has always stayed on the neighbors we serve. Integrity, respect, and partnership guide everything we do.
